Every day 19 million people share a birthday

When I decided to spend my birthday doing 38 kind things for others in 2008, I never dreamed it would become such a worldwide phenomenon. I answered countless emails, created a Facebook page and conducted interviews with multiple media outlets, all without any real idea where else to take the movement. I was only focused on using it to make the world a kinder place. When we decided to take this beautiful thing to the next level and file as a nonprofit corporation, it was an enormous leap of faith. We saw, for six years, this simple concept resonate with parents, teens, children, elderly, veterans, clergy, people from every continent except for Antarctica (we're working on that one!), every skin color, language, tribe and religion. We KNEW this was something bigger than we ever anticipated a single birthday celebration to be. 

So now, as we inspire millions to help others, we are asking for a little help in return. We would be honored if you would consider making a donation to The Birthday Project as we cover the costs of starting a nonprofit. When the speaking gigs and book publishing starts happening, we also want to offer scholarships to kids who are changing the way they celebrate by taking the focus off themselves and finding opportunities to make a positive impact on the world around them.
