The Post That Started It All...
Although Robyn Bomar has planned charity based birthday parties for 15 years, it was one single blog post about her own birthday in 2010 that received such unexpected reaction, it was the catalyst for what would later become The Birthday Project. With thousands of reader comments, emails, mentions on blogs, message boards, Twitter and Pinterest and Facebook, The Birthday Project was born. Sadly, the website where the blog was originally posted on February 10, 2002 was hacked and is currently unavailable (http://mixmingleglow.com/blog/?p=1358 ).
